Next Phase of Multi-Million Dollar Village Expansion Continues For Winter Opening
Visitors to the Big Sky Mountain Village Plaza area will see a new building has taken shape between the Snowcrest and Huntley Lodge. Construction crews will continue with interior work through the summer with a goal of opening for the 2007-2008 winter season.
Big Sky Resort broke ground two summers ago on the first of several structures that will re-shape the core Mountain Village over the coming decade. Village Center One, which will enhance the current pedestrian plaza and expand the retail and dining options at Big Sky. This four-story building will offer innovative slopeside work/play entertainment suites.

Description
Greetings from Big Sky Montana! Thank you for your inquiry about the Gallatin Riverhouse, Big Sky’s premier riverside lodging featuring 2 bedrooms/2 baths plus loft, sleeps six. The house is equipped with a full kitchen, dining area, living room, washer and dryer, fireplace/wood burning stove, and satellite TV, located on the banks of the Gallatin River.
You can enjoy all Big Sky has to offer during your stay, Blue Ribbon trout fishing, 18 hole Arnold Palmer designed golf course, white water rafting, hiking, horseback riding and more. In the winter, ski the destination resort of Big Sky, cross country ski on the areas many groomed trails, or sit back in the living room and view the wildlife of the Porcupine Wilderness area through the picture windows.
The Riverhouse is conveniently located 1/2 mile south of the Big Sky entrance on Hwy. 191, and only 49 miles north of the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. |
Directions
The Gallatin Riverhouse is located 1/2 mile south of the entrance to Big Sky Montana, on Highway 191, riverside.
From the Gallatin Field Airport in Belgrade (Bozeman Airport): exit the airport and turn right on the frontage road. Drive until you see the I-90 overpass. The road becomes Route 85. Drive south on Route 85 for 6 miles to Four Corners (the large intersection with gas stations). Continue south through the intersection. The road becomes Route 191. Drive 34 miles south on Route 191. The Big Sky entrance is well marked on your right. The Gallatin Riverhouse is 1/2 mile further south on your left.
From West Yellowstone: leave town heading north on Route 287. Drive north about 8 miles to the intersection of Route 287 and Route 191. Continue north on Route 191. Drive 40 miles north on Route 191. The Gallatin Riverhouse is on your right, two doors down from the Comfort Inn. The Big Sky entrance is well marked 1/2 mile further north on your left.
