Next Phase of Multi-Million Dollar Village Expansion Continues For Winter Opening

Visitors to the Big Sky Mountain Village Plaza area will see a new building has taken shape between the Snowcrest and Huntley Lodge. Construction crews will continue with interior work through the summer with a goal of opening for the 2007-2008 winter season.

Big Sky Resort broke ground two summers ago on the first of several structures that will re-shape the core Mountain Village over the coming decade. Village Center One, which will enhance the current pedestrian plaza and expand the retail and dining options at Big Sky. This four-story building will offer innovative slopeside work/play entertainment suites.

Description

Don't miss this tradition of music and theatre under the spectacular Big Sky of southwestern Montana. Join us on the lawn for a fantastic summer schedule. The season ends with the annual chili cook-off, a fierce but fun competition on Friday, August 29.

We offer performances and events throughout the season including classical music, bluegrass and country. The BSAA hosts the annual 4th of July Community Day Celebration and the annual Chili Cook Off, with many performances in between. Prices vary depending on performance.

Directions

Music in the Mountains takes place at the Meadow Village Pavilion in Big Sky's Meadow Village. Take Highway 191 to the Big Sky area, then go west on County Road 64. Follow County Road 64 for two miles and take a right on Little Coyote Road. After passing the Meadow Village Center on the right look for the big white tent also on the right - near Golden Eagle Lodge & Rocco's Restaurant.
