Next Phase of Multi-Million Dollar Village Expansion Continues For Winter Opening
Visitors to the Big Sky Mountain Village Plaza area will see a new building has taken shape between the Snowcrest and Huntley Lodge. Construction crews will continue with interior work through the summer with a goal of opening for the 2007-2008 winter season.
Big Sky Resort broke ground two summers ago on the first of several structures that will re-shape the core Mountain Village over the coming decade. Village Center One, which will enhance the current pedestrian plaza and expand the retail and dining options at Big Sky. This four-story building will offer innovative slopeside work/play entertainment suites.

Description
The Big Sky Country Fair has something for everyone! Start the Day with a 5K run, take part in the annual parade or simply watch with the kids as floats and brigades make their way through Big Sky's Meadow Village. Enjoy live music under Big Sky's pavilion or take the time to meander around the 40 plus arts and crafts booths that vendors from all over Montana, Wyoming and Idaho have set up. There are also plenty of activities for the kids, including 25 cent carnival type games, inflatable slide and jumper, lots of good prizes and a climbing wall. Food and beverages are available and entrance to the event is FREE! Nearby activities include hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, flyfishing, dining, shopping and visiting Yellowstone National Park, only 45 minutes away. |
Directions
Big Sky is located along Highway 191 between Bozeman and West Yellowstone. Turn west into Big Sky from 191 and follow for approximately 3 miles. Take first right onto Little Coyote Road. Follow until you come to the Big Sky Meadow Village Pavilion.
